myView Grade K Unit 2 Target skills weekly practice worksheet.
This sheet sums up pretty much everything and is good to hand out as a wrap up at the end of the week or the beginning of the week. Parents can use just this sheet to practice & review weekly skills at home. Sometimes it can get hard to look for books and find the right page. This sheet makes life easy, both for parents and teachers.
Product InformationThere are many things in my classroom that I’ve created so that daily or weekly tasks can be simple. My job board is one of those creations. My job board takes up only half of a small standing bulletin board, which leaves me more space for educational displays on my other bulletin boards! These labels go with every theme that I’ve had in my classroom and they fit perfectly over sticky library pockets. Each year, I write the names of my students onto Popsicle sticks and I use them with this job board. All I have to do is rotate the Popsicle sticks once a week. Depending on your grade level, your students might be able to rotate them for you. Easy, Simple, and Fast!
Edit this document by typing in the classroom jobs that you use in your classroom. Then print out on bright coloured paper, and laminate.
Use laminated name labels and attach students to jobs with blu tack or velcro.
What a happy, organised class you will now have!
This game is ideal for any class who have studied An Inspector Calls as a text and need to revise what they have learnt for a test or exam. The resource includes a game board (which is double-sided and has a practice exam question on the back of it which serves as an extra post-game activity), board game cards, counters, a record sheet for any notes the students make whilst playing and full instructions on how to use the game.
A free sample lesson from the ‘An Inspector Calls’ scheme of work.
This lesson focuses on Arthur Birling and introduces students to the context of capitalism and socialism.
The scheme of work is targeted towards lower ability students, with the aim of helping them achieve a pass at GCSE. There are a range of activities that will help to keep your most challenging students engaged.
An Inspector Calls contains characters that are all symbolic references to certain classes or types of people in society: each character represents the upper, middle or lower classes from which they came, as well as the older or younger generations - except for the Inspector himself, who serves as a mouthpiece for Priestley’s own personal views and opinions.
An Inspector Calls research lessons that could be used as homework or as part of an extended cross-curricular project. This pack includes six different fully differentiated worksheets that cover the Edwardian era, the Post-War era, the Titanic and its sinking, the First World War and Second World War, JB Priestley and his life, and well-made plays and morality plays. Could be used as cover lessons, different starters over a number of weeks, group activities or as homework sheets. As worksheets include relevant web links and pointers to guide students.
